How Can I Help?
Funding
As with all projects of this kind, the setting up and maintenance of the eruv needs funding, and whilst we have the full support of the local religious authorities, most of the finances for the eruv will be coming from those who benefit from the eruv the most - the Elstree & Borehamwood community.
All cheques should be made payable to the Ebor Eruv Charitable Trust and we welcome donations made through Gift Aid. More details can be found in the enclosed document or by visiting the Charities Aid Foundation website: www.cafonline.org/giving.
There are three ways in which you can support the eruv:
One-Off Donations
To make a one-off payment to the Ebor Eruv, or to pay through regular instalments, please e-mail donate@eboreruv.org with your contact details and someone will be in touch to discuss details.
Subscriptions To The Eruv Alert Service
If you live in the community and/or are hoping to use the eruv on a regular basis, you are strongly advised to subscribe to the subscription service whereby an e-mail or SMS (or both) will be sent to you each Friday to let you know whether or not the eruv is operational for the coming Shabbat. To subscribe to this service, please e-mail subscribe@eboreruv.org with your contact details including the mobile phone number and/or e-mail address to which you want the weekly alert sent.
Sponsorship And Advertising
To advertise on this website please contact info@eboreruv.org. Advertisements will appear on the Home page and will be posted for a calendar month. Announcements about a family simchah may also be placed on the Home page. As well as the website, there will be opportunities for businesses and individuals or families to place advertisements in promotional brochures which will be distributed throughout the community. To find out more about any of these options, please contact info@eboreruv.org.
